100% Puppy. She’s a yellow lab / golden retriever mix, and her name is Chloe. Her eyes are just the same color as her fur. I may as well have an 18 month old human baby.
Antics include:
- In the dishwasher. Completely inside.
- Wearing my cell phone and charger like a scarf.
- Causing an emergency surgery (stitching) for an elephant Webkinz
- Breaking-out of crate, leaping of baby gates to attack large herd of unicorns.
- Sampling every plant.
- Falling off bed while sleeping.
- Peeing. A lot. On everything.
- Breaking glasses and dishes.
- Slicing the screen on the dining room window and hoisting herself thru off the deck.
- Making the puppy face so I forgive her.

and it couldn’t have happened to a sweeter more deserving person.
and you know that I mean that in the nicest way possible.
congatulations on your new baby, bella wants kisses!

Oh, she is a sweetie. Look at that face! They are very high energy dogs. She’ll settle down – a bit. As to the peeing, about all you can do is take her out – very often – so she gets the concept of peeing outdoors. For the energy, regular “games” may help, like tossing things for her to retrieve. The chewing (Brittanys are massive chewers), we give them nila bones when they’re in the house. When they’re outdoors, we let them have hooves. Our vet recommended that we not give them rawhide, as it blows up in their stomachs and causes all sorts of problems. He recommended the nila bones and hooves. The dogs LOVE the hooves, but the darn things stink, which is why we don’t allow them to chew them in the house.
She really is cute, and that is a great shot.
AWWW. We used to have a lab/golden mix named Jessa. She was the sweetest thing – house trained herself (at about 6 months old)….
But i’ve never heard of a Chloe Tree. Are they ornamental?
Aww, so cute! Yeah, you’d have to forgive her just about anything…
We’re way into the pet search as well, so I’m interested in anyone else’s experience!
The lab/retriever mix should be great. I bet she’s a sweet puppy.
Of course you can leave random comments laying around and out of context.
Where’s the fun in organization and predictability?
cute!
